The audioplay really elevates Trevor Likely's character in importance, mostly at the expense of Glenda Sugarbean.
That's bad enough, but they also move the start of the book backward to the point where Trev and Knutt meet for the first time. So instead of being introduced to Trev as a loveable ne'er do well, we get like half an hour of him being disgusted by and crule to Knutt. He even binds his hands and leads him around on a rope. I was really grossed out.
There's a really good audiobook of the unabridged Unseen Academicals narrated by Stephen Briggs. Listen to that instead.
I could go on and on about this. It was really bad!
